red-d3v1l

As I have told you before that this weblog has attacked by Red-D3v1L, I have to tell some steps to take this problem care too. Generally, Red-D3v1L just attack and infiltrate to our index.php of theme (wp-content/themes/yourcurrenttheme/index.php).

If you did not know yet, you can check your not-root webpage. Try to open and compare www.yourweb.com/yourpage or www.yourweb.com/yourpost and www.yourweb.com in your browser. You can watch your not-root webpage and you cannot watch your root webpage. Therefore, I think it is so easy for us to get our theme back.

What we have to do firstly is login to our theme directory (public-html/wp-content/themes/yourcurrenttheme) via Control Panel. I think it is no matter by using cPanel or VistaPanel. All are same.

Find index.php file on your theme directory. Then replace it by original index.php theme file that is not currently on your theme directory. If you do not have its backup, find again your theme and get index.php file only.

Until here, you can finally get your own true theme back. However, if you cannot login to your web dashboard (www.yourweb.com/wp-admin/index.php) by your real username, you have to request new username and password via wp-login. Here, you have to input your primary e-mail address, that you have used it when installing your web.

Open your e-mail inbox, get your new password, and enjoy your day!
